BIMI SVG Generator

Convert your logo SVG into BIMI-compliant SVG Tiny-PS — square canvas, scripts stripped, external references removed, validated.

How it works

Hosts the converted file over HTTPS and point your BIMI record at it. Gmail also needs a VMC/CMC certificate.

Frequently asked questions

Why does BIMI need a special SVG format?

Mailbox providers render your logo inside their UI, so the format is locked down for security: SVG Tiny 1.2 Portable/Secure — no scripts, no external references, no interactivity. A regular Illustrator/Figma export usually fails these rules; this converter rewrites it into the compliant subset.

My logo isn't square — what now?

BIMI requires a square canvas. This tool rejects non-square SVGs rather than stretching your logo. Fix it in your design tool: place the logo centered on a square artboard, then convert again.

Can I convert a PNG or JPG?

No — BIMI requires vector SVG. A raster image can't become a valid Tiny-PS logo this way (wrapping a PNG inside an SVG fails validation at mailbox providers). Trace it to vector paths in a design tool first.

What happens to scripts and links in my SVG?

They're removed: <script> elements, on* event attributes, <foreignObject>, and any external http(s) references. The visual shapes, paths and fills are preserved. A checklist shows everything that was stripped.

After converting, what do I do with the file?

Host it over HTTPS (e.g. https://yourdomain.com/bimi-logo.svg), put that URL in your BIMI DNS record's l= tag, and verify with the BIMI checker. Note Gmail only displays the logo with a VMC or CMC certificate.
